Moolangi Mosaru Bajji
I find this Radish curd raitha as an awesome side dish for chapathi, paratha & with rice items like capsicum rice.
Ingredients :
Radish : 2 -3
Channa dal / Urad dal : 1/2 - 1 tsp
Curd : 1 bowl ( as per requirement)
Curry, coriander leaves : few
Oil : 1 tsp for seasoning
Salt : per taste
Method:
Wash & peel the radish, grate them.
Now take curd in bowl, if you want you can beat the curd.
Take
oil in a vessel, add mustard seeds, channa dal/ urad dal , when they
turn to brown add, curry leaves, chopped green chillies. let it cool,
when it is cooled down add grated radish & curd to it mix well, add
salt, add chopped coriander.
Nice to know about this recipe. In our childhood, my mother used to prepare such one. However, this is known by different name in North Karnataka which I'm unable to recollect. Thanks
