Hesarubele Kosambari
Hesarubele Kosambari mainly prepared to offer to God as naivedya & distributed as prasad, mainly in Ramanavami festival, its distributed generously with panaka to all the devotees.
Ingredients :
Moong Dal/Hesarubele : 1 Cup
Chopped Cucumber : 1 cup
Grated coconut : 1 cup
Green chillies : 2 -3
Lemon juice : 1 tsp (optional)
Grated Carrot : 1/2 cup (optional)
Curry, Coriander leaves : few , ( as per ur wish)
Hing : a pinch
Salt to the taste
Oil, mustard seeds : seasoning

Method:
Soak moong dal for about 2 hours.
Drain & wash the dal after 2 hours, add cocnut, cucumber, green chillies, salt mix well.
Take a kadai add 1 tsp of oil , add mustard seeds, once it splutters add curry leaves, hing, turn off the flame, if u want u can add few chopped chillies too.
Put the seasoning on the mixture, finally add lemon juice to the taste.
Can be had as evening sancks, with rice, chapati as side dish, goes well with holige/obbattu.
It makes a healthy & tasty snacks.
