Sabasige Soppina Palya
This is a simple recipe but makes a tasty dish, makes good side dish with roti/chapati.
Ingredients:
Sabasige/Dill leaves chopped : 2 cups
Sabasige/Dill leaves chopped : 2 cups
Toor dal : 1 cup
Rice : 1tbsp
Garlic : 3 - 4 cloves
Salt : to taste
Oil : 1 tsp
Method :
Clean the dill leaves, chop them finely.
Take a vessel mix all the ingredients together, chopped dill leaves, rice, toor dal & salt, add water.
Keep it on medium flame, close the lid.
When rice & toor dal almost done, add crushed cloves of garlic, oil.
let it cook until the toor dal & rice softens.
Can be served with Jolada roti, Chapati.
