ಈರುಳ್ಳಿ ಸೊಪ್ಪೂ ಮತ್ತೂ ತೊಗರಿ ಬೇಳೆ ಪಲ್ಯ ~ Spring Onion Toor Dal

ಈರುಳ್ಳಿ ಸೊಪ್ಪಿನ ಪಲ್ಯ/ Spring onion & Toor dal curry

Spring onion : 2-3
Toor dal  : 1 cup
Rice : 1/2 cup
Garlic : 3 - 4 cloves
Salt : to taste
Oil : 1 tsp

Method :
Clean the spring onions, chop them finely. 

Take a vessel mix all the ingredients together, chopped spring onions, rice, toor dal & salt, add water.

Keep it on medium flame close the lid, keep checking in between.
When rice & toor dal almost done, add crushed cloves of garlic, oil. let it cook for another few mins until the toor dal gets cooked. 

Suits most with Jolada rotti, can be had with chapathi also.
This can be made spicy adding chillies, but this recipe i shared is unique, no need of much oil.

Ready to serve
