Instant Menthya Dosa
Ingredients :
For Dosa batter : -
Rice flour : 2 cups
Chopped Menthya leaves : 1 cup
Onion : 1 medium
Chillies : Green or Red 2 -3 ( depends)
Method:
Take a mixing bowl, add Rice flour, maida/all purpose flour, add salt. keep it aside
Chop fenugreek/ Menthya leaves, chop onion in to slices, now grind them together or separately.
Now mix the ground mixture with the flour taken in mixing bowl.
Add enough water to get the dosa batter consistency.
For Aloo Palya :
Ingredients:
Potatoes : 2 - 3
Onion : 1 medium
Curry, Coriander leaves : few
Turmeric powder : a pinch
Chillies : green/ red 2 -3
Black pepper powder : 1/4 tsp
Salt : to the taste
Oil : i Tbsp
Mustard, Jeera seeds for seasoning
Method :
Pressure cook the potatoes. Let them cool.
Peel & smash them, keep it aside.
Take a kadai, add oil , add mustard, jeera seeds, once they splutters add chopped onions, green chilies, curry leaves.
Once the onion gets cooked, add smashed potato, fry for few mins, add water bring it to boil. let it cook for few mins. turn off the flame.
Curry can be made more watery/thin by adding water
Serve with Menthya dosa.
